Byzantine Weights, Circa 4th-6th centuries. Weight of 2 Nomismata (Bronze, 16x16 mm, 8.92 g), a square coin weight for two solidi with trifacial edges. NB with annulet above; all inlaid in silver. Rev. Blank. Bendall -. CPAI -. MAH -. A lovely and interesting piece with an unusual ligate denomination mark. Good very fine.
